Early Years Advisors

Posted by Bringing up Baby under: news; special needs; support.

All of our nurseries are members of their local Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership. This enables us to access external training courses as well as to link up with an Early Years Advisor.

These advisors regularly visit the nurseries and provide advice, support and guidance in areas such as curriculum planning, observation and assessment and Special Educational Needs.

Some of our advisors have also provided us with some excellent in house training for our staff as well as speaking at Parents Evenings.
Good practice is shared amongst the Company and new ideas and procedures are put into place as and when necessary.

Each of the nurseries has a regular Ofsted inspection. This is an inspection combining OFSTED’s 14 Care Standards with the Educational Inspection, which looks at the 6 Early Learning Goals.

Reports are available from the nurseries and from the OFSTED website.

Back-up care

Posted by Bringing up Baby under: corporate; emergencies; news.

If your company needs access to reliable, high quality childcare for emergencies (such as nanny sickness, holidays etc) please contact our Head Office and we can discuss your specific needs. Think of how much money is lost and how much stress your staff are put through each year, due to unforeseen childcare problems.

Please contact our Head Office or the Nursery Manager for more details on how to apply for the scheme.
