September’s news
Posted by bringingupbaby under: Richford; events; new children .
September is proving to be a very busy month with a lot of new babies and children starting. Everyone is beginning to settle in and get familiar with the nursery surroundings. The 3-5′s had fun making miniature puppets of themselves, by sticking their photo on a body cut out and using different fabrics to make their clothes. Now they can have puppet shows. We have also had a Drama teacher in for a visit to deliver a demonstration of her music and drama classes for children from 2-5 years. It proved to be very popular with the children and if parents are interested we could arrange for regular weekly sessions.
Thank you to one of our parents for donating a toy barbecue to the nursery. It has been a welcome addition to our outdoor area resources and the sound effects are quite realistic too. We have recently bought some animal cut out shapes which we plan to mount on the walls in the garden area. We will post photos of the end result with our Oct news.
