New pets!

We would like to welcome Coco and Shambles our new pet turtles that were kindly donated to the Nursery, all the children have enjoyed watching the turtles at various times of the day, the children are able to help care for our turtles by feeding them and also assist the staff cleaning the tank. At least once a week Coco and Shambles will enjoy a walk around the carpet all the children enjoy this also, some of the children also enjoy feeling the turtle’s bumpy shell.

Over 2′s

The over 2’s room currently have two focuses:

Day and Night/ Light and Dark – All the children have enjoyed collaging Suns and moons which are now hanging over our home corner. The children have also completed charcoal drawings for our display.

Another focus for the over 2’s is Noahs Ark. The children have helped decorate various animals for our Noahs Ark animals that the children have decorated include Zebras, Kangaroos, Giraffes, Elephants and many more.

Over two’s would like to welcome two new children to their room!

Under 2′s

Under twos room is currently focusing on Colours, all the children have helped so far to decorate Red, Yellow, Green and Blue items such as Ducks, Sun, Apples, Banana, Grapes, Clouds etc.

Under twos would also like to welcome three new children to their room!

Staff update

We currently have two work experience students here with us and will be in nursery on Mondays and Tuesday until April, all the children have enjoyed having the extra people to play with.

Important dates

Some important dates to remember:

  • Nursery open day 26th January
  • Easter tea party 20th march 3:30 to 4:30
  • Nursery closes at 6pm, 25th March nursery reopens at 8am.
